A Journey in Pursuit of Bible Truth
Truth is not something stumbled upon. It is pursued, tested, and embraced by a heart that longs for understanding. This is where I document that pursuit: an honest, ongoing search for Bible truth, verse by verse, straight from the source.
Like a newborn craves pure spiritual milk, I desire to be nourished by God's Word. To grow in wisdom, discernment, and spiritual maturity through it (1 Peter 2:2). Finding Bible truth isn't a passive endeavor. It takes diligence, humility, and a willingness to let Scripture challenge what I already assume to be true.
I come to the text with questions, not to doubt, but to deepen faith. I search for Bible truth, not for intellectual pride, but for the renewal of my own heart and mind. In an age where many claim to hold the truth yet contradict Scripture, I keep returning to the one source that remains unchanged: the inspired Word of God.
Why I Search the Way I Do
This journey follows the pattern of the Bereans in Acts 17:11, who "searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so." That's the model here, not taking anyone's word for it, including my own, but testing every claim against the text itself.
Four questions shape every study on this site:
- What is the truth? — Truth is defined by God's Word, not by feeling or opinion (John 17:17).
- Where can I find it? — Scripture itself is the located source, not tradition or preference (Psalm 119:105; 2 Timothy 3:16).
- How can I get to it? — Through diligent, daily searching and rightly dividing the text (Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 2:15).
- What must I do with it? — Truth found demands obedience, not just knowledge (James 1:22; John 13:17).
Every study you find here works through this same process — because Bible truth that isn't lived out hasn't really been received yet.
An Invitation, Not a Conclusion
